Plywood Framed Acrylic Wall Panel

 Indoor Comfort Design and Invention is a two part project, where students are tasked to innovate and provide interior design total solution for heat gain to a key problem area of a chosen building. This report requires students to “record and measurement of 4 facings of external walls of chosen building” to identify the wall with the highest heat transfer through calculations and then, providing a solution to resist the heat through “passive/green insulation product”.

      This report begins with site analysis, where I have chosen my room in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam for convenience purposes. The facings of the (North, South, East, West) external walls is then identified to ensure the direction of sunlight. Next, the temperature of the interior walls is measured and recorded at three different time of the day which are 7am, 12pm and 5pm to calculate the heat transfer and identify the wall with the highest heat gain.
